WHY I BELIEVE

I’m not a traditional Christian. I didn’t have a come to Jesus moment. I came kicking and screaming… Quite literally. I dedicating a good 10 years, as an atheist, to the goal of proving there is no GOD and exposing the injustices and the manipulations that were embedded in the waste of time we called religion. I couldn’t wait to show the world and my mother.

After all that digging, I threw a full blown fit when I reluctantly came to the conclusion that the existence of GOD was very real… I used colorful language to let GOD know that I didn’t trust HIM one bit and I still felt this was a bunch of malarkey. I also went as far as informing HIM that I would only be following HIM on a trail bases. Ha!

Never in a million years would I have imagined that my life would have turned out as amazing as it has or let alone that my relationship with JESUS would be at the core of it. Never! I want you to have your incredible life so what I know I am going to share with you.

Here is a snippet of what I’ve learned so far;

• A lot of the things people say is in the Bible, isn’t even in the Bible.

• Jesus didn’t like religion. In fact, when HE talked about it, it wasn’t in a positive light.

• Religion is something we created. Some of the traditions we see today came from us, not GOD.

• Jesus talked about having a close personal relationship with HIM. Unfortunately a lot of people turned that into something else.

• Having a relationship with GOD closes the gap between hearing that GOD loves us to actually experiencing that love. It will blow your mind!

• GOD is not afraid of my questions, my doubts or my tantrums.
